We’re gathering the experiences of parents and carers whose children are currently at secondary school or have already been through it.
Their experiences will help PACE identify the things families wish they’d known, understood or asked sooner — and turn those insights into practical information for parents coming behind them.
Early themes are already beginning to emerge, and we’re continuing to gather experiences from more families.
Why PACE?
Finding the right support for a child with SEND can involve hours of searching, asking other parents and following recommendations — sometimes discovering important information much later than you wish you had.
It can be difficult to find out what exists, who it’s suitable for, how to access it and what questions to ask.
PACE brings together useful provision and opportunities alongside practical information and the knowledge SEND parents gain through lived experience.
