PACE Project exists to help SEND families find clearer information, practical support and local opportunities.
Trust matters.
This page explains how we aim to protect that trust as the project grows.
We put parents first
PACE Project is built around the questions parents actually ask when they are trying to find support for their child.
We aim to make information clearer, easier to search and more useful.
We do not sell parent personal data
PACE Project will not sell parent personal information.
If we use parent experience data in future reports, it will be anonymised and aggregated wherever possible.
We keep paid content separate
Some provider profiles, spotlights or sponsored resources may be paid for.
Paid content helps fund the development of PACE Project.
Payment does not affect parent reviews, future confidence scores, editorial independence or whether PACE considers a provider suitable for any child.
Sponsored content will be clearly labelled.
We are not an inspection body
PACE Project does not inspect, approve, accredit or guarantee providers.
Information is for signposting and decision support only.
Parents, carers, schools and commissioners should make their own checks before choosing or using any provider.
We moderate carefully
When parent reviews are introduced, we will moderate them to reduce risk, protect privacy and keep information useful.
We will not knowingly publish child names, private medical details, staff names, defamatory claims or identifying information.
We collect only what we need
PACE Project will aim to collect the minimum information needed to make the platform useful and safe.
We will avoid collecting child names, exact dates of birth or unnecessary sensitive documents in Phase 1.
We believe in transparency
Where possible, listings will show whether information is publicly researched, parent-suggested, provider-confirmed or recently updated.
We are building carefully
PACE Project will grow in phases. Some features, such as public reviews, annual parent updates and data reports, will only be introduced when the right governance, privacy and moderation processes are in place.
