Who it is for
The registered age range is 4–16. Access depends on medical or mental health needs preventing school attendance and the service’s referral criteria.
What is available
Teaching is arranged around medical and mental health needs. Depending on assessment, education may take place in a centre, at home, in hospital or online, with liaison between school, family and relevant professionals.
Getting started
The child’s school should contact CHES about a referral, supported by appropriate medical information. The service assesses referrals before agreeing provision.
