Penryn Primary Academy ARB (Gweek and Poldhu)
Gweek and Poldhu are Penryn Primary Academy’s ARB classes. The curriculum is designed around pupils’ physical, sensory, learning and social needs. Staff use a total communication approach, including Makaton, symbols and appropriate alternative communication. The published offer includes a sensory room, forest school, swimming and individual links with mainstream classes. Learning also supports communication, confidence and independence.
