Caradon Alternative Provision Academy

A Wave MAT academy providing alternative education and support to re-engage with learning.

Who it is for

The registered age range is 5–16. Places are for pupils requiring an alternative provision placement. Families should discuss individual SEND needs and the placement criteria with the school and academy.

What is available

Individual learning programmes support pupils who are excluded, at risk of exclusion or accessing an intervention placement. Teaching covers primary and secondary stages, with a focus on engagement and next steps.

Getting started

Start with the child’s school or the local authority education team. Referrals and placements are agreed through the education system; this is not a drop-in activity.
